oops...we missed April!

April was a pretty  busy month for us.  Ross's parents' and sister's (Nathana) birthdays were all at the beginning of the month.  We went out to eat or had a meal at Mama Joyce's house to celebrate.  We also worked on the landscaping in the front of our house and it looks really nice now!  Ross did most of the hard work but I helped out a little. :)

My cousin, Maddie's, birthday was the 16th.  We had a birthday dinner at her house.

The weekend of the 20-22 was Tri-fest, which we always look forward to.  We ate a lot of greasy food but didn't spend a lot of time there because it was cold and windy and rainy.

The last weekend of April was a special weekend.  Friday evening my brother, Tyler and his wife, Traci, came in town.  Saturday we all went to Elizabethtown, KY, to help my other brother, Charles and his wife, Summer, move into their new apartment.  It was so cute and cozy.

Saturday night, Aunt Pam made dinner for all of us and we got to spend some really good family time together.

Sunday morning was Mom and Kevin's last service at First Assembly.  It was a great service and we had a reception afterwards.

Later that afternoon, we had a family dinner at Kevin's parents' house with some of his family that had come in from out of town.

This past weekend we traveled to Springfield, MO, for my brothers' and sister-in-law's college graduation from Central Bible College.  Tyler preached at the graduation ceremony.  We are so proud of all of them.  We got to spend a lot of time together as a family and ate a lot of good food.  We had a really good time and we even got to see the Avengers movie.

On the way back to KY, we stopped in St Louis to eat and we went up in the Arch because Ross has never been.

This was also the first weekend for Mom and Kevin to start their iteneration for Egypt.  They are starting at 28% of their funds so things are really looking positive .  Please continue to pray that they will reach their full funding and be ready to travel to Egypt and begin language school in January 2013.
