Happy Friday!

We've had a really good start to our weekend!

My (Sarah) grandpa has been in Little Rock all week having tests run to see if he can get a bone marrow transplant.  This morning was his appointment with the doctor there to make a decision.  He has been accepted! We are so happy and grateful that he gets the chance to do this and we are praying that it will be successful and not have any complications.  He will be home for a week and then go back to start treatments for several weeks.

Tonight, Ross took me to Old Chicago for dinner because it is one of our favorites and we went to Gigi's Cupcakes that just opened today in Evansville.  I'm so excited because I LOVE cupcakes! :)

Tomorrow is my cousin, Kara's, baby shower.  Her baby boy, Kingston, will be here at the end of March.  It should be a lot of fun.  Also, tomorrow, Ross is going with his parents and sisters and brother-in-law to visit their grandparents for Mama Grace's birthday.  Tomorrow night is my great-grandmother's birthday party too.

Sunday, we will be attending church to continue our sermon series on "Real Marriage" that is being dual-preached by my parents.  Its been really good so far.  Sunday night is usually our small group meeting but this week, all of the small groups are going bowling together for a 5th Sunday celebration.

Wow, we have a busy weekend! Maybe we'll get in a movie and relax a little tonight.

Sunday Funday

Ross and I got home yesterday afternoon from Lexington.  We had a great time at the UK game and we had really good seats.  They were mid court, 6th row in the upper level so we had a great view of the whole game.  And best of all... the Cats won! :)

We left Fiona with my parents Friday night and she was not very well behaved so my mom was up a lot with her and I'm not sure she'll be a welcome overnight guest again, but it was a humorous situation from what I understand.

This afternoon we went to Robards to spend some time with my grandparents.  They are leaving tomorrow morning for Little Rock, AR for possibly 6-8 weeks.  My grandpa has bone cancer and has not been given a lot of hope and the chemo is starting to destroy his body so his last hope (outside of a miracle) is a bone marrow transplant.  He was rejected for one at Vanderbilt last year because of his age but the place at Little Rock is known for doing them on older people.  We are praying that he will be accepted for the transplant and that his body will receive the new bone marrow successfully and he will be very healthy!  All prayers are greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone has a great week!

The beginning of a new....Thursday?

Well, my other blog was hacked or something preventing me from signing in so I'll just make a new one.  Today is Thursday and there is nothing exciting going on right now so I guess I will give you an update on us.

Ross is still working at Owensboro Pediatrics as the business manager. He won his fantasy football league with his friends and that about covers all the updates on him.  lol

I (Sarah) am still working as the office assistant/billing coordinator at Therapy Associates in Henderson.

We have an adorable Westie named Fiona.  She is 13 months old and is so sweet.  We love her so much!

We still live in our same house in The Hills and I am already looking for a new one.  We can't sell our house until May 2013 but maybe I can find something I like by then.

We are not currently pregnant (since this seems to be the most asked question these days), but I will let you know when there's something you need to be informed of.

Tomorrow we are going to Elizabethtown, KY to see my brother, Charles and his wife, Summer.  We're going to dinner, hanging out, and staying the night with them and then heading to Lexington to watch UK play on Saturday.  Fiona is staying with my parents for the while we're gone and that will be the first time they have kept her at their house without us being there.  Maybe we should put them on the prayer list? haha

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'll try to add some pictures when I get a chance.
